“Dolu” - Multifuncitonal thermos
Industrial Design Diploma Project 2023
My task was to produce a multifunctional and portable product to be taken somewhere as well as offer a lot of functions for needs. Especially, I have researched the problem based on clean water in Azerbaijan’s regions and villages. So, this multifunctional product provides portability, and it was a thermos. The main function is to keep drinks hot or cool whenever we want. Furthermore, there are at least five functions in one - a portative blender, water filter, infuser for tea, fruit, and cookie jar. In addition, the name of the thermos is Dolu which means “Full and the iced version of water” in Azerbaijani.

The project development process involved several steps. Firstly, academic presentations were made. Then, craft papers, plastics, and other materials were used to create prototypes of the product, and there was a 3D visualization of the product which made in Blender. The main cap shape and dimensions were also determined during this stage. Finally, 3D prints of the blender and opening-closing mechanism, as well as the thermos bottle, were produced in the last stage.
On the other hand, the bottle has one additional bottle inside of it to provide a thermal effect, and the inside bottle material is glass for health issues. However, outside of the thermos will be making biodegradable plastic for being able to quickly recycle process in the soil.

The second color range is motivated by ceramics, matcha, cloudy weather, fog, etc.
“Multifunctional thermos” namely, “Dolu” consists of 2 main caps and 5 additional parts. On this page, I shared the rendered version of them. I have completed those pieces in Blender for 4 months with all parts.
